Biography: Originally from small town Alberta, Monica Kidd is a medical student and journalist living in St. John's, Newfoundland. She has worked as a CBC reporter, a field biologist, and as radio producer for CUSO. She is the author of two novels and a poetry collection called Actualities (Gaspereau Press, 2007); Any Other Woman, her first book of non-fiction, is due out in the fall of 2008 from NeWest Press.
