We're talking trash! Take a look at where your garbage ends up, and what some green-thinking people are doing to change our throw-away culture.
"Out of sight, out of mind". That's the attitude of most people when it comes to garbage. We put our garbage out on the curb and someone comes and takes it away -- and it's not our problem anymore! But we all know that garbage has to go somewhere, and wherever it ends up it causes serious environmental trouble. In this dossier you'll experience a range of garbage and recycling issues and meet people who are finding solutions to the problem of waste in our culture. From dumpster diving in Australia, to 'e-waste' recycling in China, to Canadian environmentalists in action, we're bringing the issue of garbage back home to your doorstep. It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it! Contribute your media and voice now!
Greenpeace is recycling iWaste. 4 million PCs are dumped into China every year releasing toxic chemicals causing fatal diseases- that?s why Greenpeace is encouraging Apple fans to demand environmentally-friendly computers. Learn how you can support iWaste management.
Hey,guys! If you want to save our planet, ( and we all know it's gonna drown soon ), you MUST make new glaciers, by exploding big 'bombs' with liquid nitrogen deep under water, at some distance from the existing glaciers. And when the new ice will surface, you bring it to the old glaciers and connect them by spilling some liquid nitrogen. Sounds simple, doesn't it? And you're talking the idiots into reducing the level of smoke. And please, plant new trees allover the world, to fight deforestation!
