Mohammed Belhaj is an award-winning documentary writer-director who was chosen to direct one of the short films on racism in the workplace. His film "Une Femme de Tête" will examine the challenges that Bouchra, a Moroccan woman, faces in her search for meaningful employment in Quebec. The film will also focus on the job seeking experiences of many immigrants from countries in the Middle East.

With over 17 years of professional experience, Mohammed has worked on numerous subjects and in varying environments. He has directed documentaries on cultural, social and political subjects throughout the Middle-East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America as well as in North America. He has also directed several news documentaries in various conflict areas of the world. Mohammed's work has received gold prizes at both the Egypt and Bahreïn documentary film festivals.
