Combining materials from conferences of the Montreal Action Committee of Women of Diverse Origins and from the Forum on Women's Activism in Constitutional and Democractic Reform, women of action take a stand on inclusion in the democratic process, on combating violence, on eradicating poverty and a whole lot more.
Hailing from diverse ethnic backgrounds from Canada and around the world, in solidarity, women work to affect change. These are their stories.
