Migrant labour is one of the many characteristics of globalization. Ontario, Canada employs nearly 20,000 migrant workers for up to 8 months each year. Much of the fruit and vegetables grown in Canada are picked and sorted by non-Canadian workers who are often mistreated and underpaid. Take a look at the lives of these workers.
