Rebel With a Cause : Mark Achbar

Mark Achbar discusses his films, his influences, and his passion as an activist filmmaker.

Meet Mark Achbar. Since the early 1990s he has turned his lens on media control, human rights abuses, U.S. imperialism, and the dangers of corporate power. Here Achbar brings us further into the making of The Corporation and Manufacturing Consent, the former, focusing on the destructive power of big corporations and their impact on the world, the latter a critical examination of the media. Achbar speaks on how his audiences perceive the world after seeing his film, after he has "tickled" their brains.
