Kathryn Harvey in conversation with Toby Butler, visiting sound artist at Concordia's Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling in the month of November. Toby Butler is the creator of Memoryscape, ‘sound walks’ that invite you to experience the hidden history of a place by listening to the memories of inhabitants, both historical and contemporary, as you walk through it. He is in the Geography Department, at Royal Holloway, University of London, and at the Museum of London. He is also a visiting fellow at the London East Research Institute.
