This collection of media on CitizenShift was created for International Women's Day. See women take to the podium and demand action, internationally. Combining materials from conferences of the Montreal Action Committee of Women of Diverse Origins and from the Forum on Women's Activism in Constitutional and Democractic Reform, women of action take a stand on inclusion in the democratic process, on combating violence, on eradicating poverty and a whole lot more.

Hailing from diverse ethnic backgrounds from Canada and around the world, in solidarity, women work to affect change. These are their stories.
