December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

This day was established by the Parliament of Canada to mark the anniversary of the murders of 14 young women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal, in 1989.

These women died because they were women.

Femicide is the systematic and deliberate killing of women and girls and it's happening worldwide.
