Media for social change

CitizenShift and our French language sister site Parole citoyenne will be joining forces with the Institut du Nouveau Monde as our new host organization.  The National Film Board, who conceived and nurtured these two Web projects into mature and successful social media networks, will remain a partner and continue to support media production on the two platforms.
 
Over the summer months we will be working to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining our regular activities with new films, podcasts, blogs and events.  Keep your eyes posted for news on our upcoming Citizen Media Rendez-Vous, to be held in Montreal on August 26.

We're proud of the excellent media works that our contributors have shared on CitizenShift over the past four years, and we thank you all for your ongoing participation and support.  Rest assured fellow Shifters, we will continue to march onwards with this transition in order to make the site even more pertinent, active and essential.  So don't go away, we're counting on you, as always, to make this site your media host and first stop for information on today's crucial social issues.
