The first open-source film?
Well, it looks like it’s finally happening.
A Swarm of Angels is the name of the project which aims to create and distribute a feature-length film entirely under creative commons license using collaborative, open-source prinicipals. In this way, the project leaders claim they’ll be able to create a 4 million dollar film for roughly half the budget.
Users will collaboratively write and edit the film through a wiki. Here’s where you go to join.
