A Royal Welcome

Governor General Michaelle Jean is launching a new interactive site featuring forums, blogs and live chats as a way for Canadians to come together and find common ground.

The site, entitled Citizen Voices, Breaking Down Solitudes, launches tomorrow at 10am and the first order of business will be an online discussion about general youth and media issues (kicking off at 7pm). (Read the CBC story here).

It’s great to see the Governor General making herself available to Canadians online. Hopefully, Citizen Voices will be the beginning of a long and rich dialogue.
