In this film, Stéphane Lahoud asks American anti-war activists to talk about their politics, and what it means to be an activist. In the months leading up to the 2004 election, many Americans are frustrated with George W. Bush's policies, while others prefer to try to become invisible to the system altogether, by not paying taxes because ultimately, they benefit the war effort. Lahoud puts the democratic system under scrutiny. Why were so many protesters arrested at the anti-war demonstration in New York? Why couldn't they demonstrate in Central Park? This independent film reveals a slice of America that doesn't make it onto network television.
